How it works

No two food sources are the same. A grocery store has different logistics than a wholesale distributor or a small farm. That's why we built three specialized programs — each designed to meet food donors exactly where they are, remove every barrier to giving, and ensure nothing edible ever goes to waste.
Program 01
Retail Rescue
From store shelves to family tables.
We partner with grocery chains, convenience stores, and specialty retailers to collect surplus food before it hits the dumpster. Our drivers pick up daily — produce, dairy, bakery, deli — and deliver it same-day to hunger relief organizations in the same community.
How it works
Partner signs up
Your store registers as a Retail Rescue partner. We handle all logistics, paperwork, and liability coverage.
Daily pickup scheduled
A trained Sharing Excess driver arrives at your agreed pickup window — typically before close — and collects all surplus food.
Same-day delivery
Food is transported directly to a local hunger relief partner — a food pantry, shelter, or community fridge — within hours.
Impact reported
You receive a monthly impact report showing pounds rescued, meals delivered, and CO₂ emissions avoided.

Program 02
Wholesale Rescue
Surplus at scale, redistributed fast.
Distributors, food manufacturers, and wholesalers often have large volumes of surplus — overstock, cosmetically imperfect produce, short-dated inventory. We mobilize our network to move these large loads quickly, connecting them with regional food banks and large-scale hunger relief operations.
How it works
Surplus identified
Your team flags surplus inventory — overstock, short-dated, or cosmetically imperfect product — through our partner portal or a quick call.
Match made
We identify the right receiving organization in our network based on volume, product type, and geography.
Logistics coordinated
We arrange transport — either through our fleet or a logistics partner — and handle all documentation for your tax deduction.
Large-scale impact
Thousands of pounds move in a single rescue, feeding entire communities in one coordinated effort.

Program 03
Direct Link
Farm to pantry. No middleman.
Direct Link connects farms, orchards, and community gardens directly with local hunger relief organizations — cutting out the middleman entirely. When a farm has surplus harvest, we match them with a nearby food pantry or shelter for a direct, recurring relationship that benefits both.
How it works
Farm registers
Your farm, orchard, or garden joins the Direct Link network. We assess your typical surplus volume and harvest schedule.
Matched with a partner
We connect you with a nearby hunger relief organization that can receive your specific produce type and volume.
Direct relationship built
You and your matched partner coordinate directly — we facilitate the introduction and provide ongoing support.
Harvest goes further
Fresh, local produce reaches families within hours of harvest — at peak nutrition and zero waste.
